According to the updated statistics of London Stock Exchange(LSE) in September 2007, AIM IPOs raised £5.23bln(amount to RMB79.653bln) totally from January to September and AIM further issues raised £7.858bln(amount to RMB119.678bln), up 100 per cent on September last year and beyond IPOs.

There were 463 growth enterprises from all over the world listed on AIM last year, of which 123 were overseas enterprises. Because of flexible regulation and high growth of listing companies’ achievement, AIM is approved and pursued by the institutional investors. The good performance of AIM new issues and further issues comes to the fore from great many of global growth market.

British AIM is known as the most successful second market in the whole world. It is engaged in building a long-term and stable platform for the growth enterprises to raise capital. It is no limit on the times of further issues, simple and convenient in the procedure. If the listing company on AIM plans to issue the equity in batches regularly, LSE can arrange it according to “ approve at one time and list in batches.”
